VideoWhisper Video Consultation is a premium high definition video communication software designed for online video consultations, trainings, webinars, coaching and online collaboration.
It was designed for few to many 2 way moderated video communication. Moderators control what participant is displayed on main screen (speaker) and can also add an additional participant (inquirer) to ask questions or assist. Participants can change their public status (i.e. request to speak), upload and download room files, text and video chat.
The free version has some limitations (maximum consultation time, participants per room).
Video Consultation integration component for joomla allows easy setup of the VideoWhisper Video Consultation software. This provides live web based video conferencing, chat and file exchange features with advanced realtime moderation designed for video seminars, internet based live trainings and e-learning, online collaboration.
The component is developed using MVC (model view controller) for Joomla 1.5 . It's a Joomla 1.5 Native component. It includes a powerful administrator side that allows creating and managing video consultation rooms with multiple advanced options.
This joomla integration component is provided with full php source code under GPL. This basicly means you can use, tweak, distribute the component php files as you wish. Contact us if you have interesting tweaks for this or derived components and want to share these with the world.

REQUIREMENTS:
This advanced software requires 2 types of hosting: a regular php&mysql web hosting plan for the regular website features (you probably have that if you have joomla installed) and a special plan (usually on a different special server) for video streaming and other instant communication required between chat clients. You need 1 of these to run the interactive and streaming part of the software: FMIS or Red5. See the software requirements page on our site for more details. Red5 is free and open source but you need a VPS or Dedicated Server with root access to install it. If you're not very technical you can also find this type of hosting with management services on our site or from other providers.
