URL Redirect Checker
This tool helps you determine if the redirect you have created is Search Engine Friendly.
How to use this tool
- Enter website URL to check whether a redirect link is Search Engine Friendly.
- Click "Check!" button.
What is a URL Redirect?
A URL redirect is a link which automatically redirects vistors to an alternative link. For example, you have a website called http://www.mysite.com and have set up a redirect on this website. Whenever visitors go to that website they will automatically be redirected to http://www.mysite.com/profile.
It is also very important that when a search engine comes to crawl your website it will be able to follow any redirects you have set up. Due to incorrect configuring of redirects many of us lose out on valuable search engine traffic.
If the search engine is not able to follow the redirect it would think that the website has no content, therefore it will end up ranked very badly in search engines.
This tool helps you determine if the redirect you have created is Search Engine Friendly.
