OrgChart dynamically builds an organizational chart from data contained in a MPTT entity table.
Users first enter data into three definition tables
1) Groups,
2) Positions, and
3) Persons.
The Groups table defines the Organizations, Regions, Departments, Sections, Committees, etc.
The Positions table defines the various positions that a person can hold within a group such as President, Director, Manager, Staff, Volunteer.
Next, Persons within an organization, that will hold one or more positions with in the organization are defined.
Finally, the relationships between groups, positions and persons is defined.
As these relationships are defined the OrgChart is being built.
Define a relationship and view the OrgChart.
Add, Modify, Delete relationships.
Experiment until you have a tree that looks the way you want it to look. Entities can be stacked.
