Joomlaspan is undergoing various positive changes over the last week. We are committed to provide you with quality Joomla extensions, both open source and commercial. While open source extensions serve the needs of the community, commercial extensions help us to maintain our website and provide us resources to continue developing more products and improve the existing extensions.
After the recent change in the management of Joomlaspan, we are taking a relook at all the extensions and revising them wherever necessary. If you have a good idea about these, please do let us know.
Issues:
One of the products that we are worried about is the JTrans Pro Component that has some issues with translation servers. When lot of queries go to a translation server, we have observed that there is a temporary ban on translation from client sites. This is seen on sites that have a good traffic and is not experienced on smaller sites. In addition, Yahoo has recently changed its codes resulting in a Babelfish banner always present at the top, which is not desirable with this component. We are looking into how to solve these at the earliest.
We have some technical issues with the support desk. We will temporarily close it down and use direct email communication with clients. We will be opening a forum based on phpBB soon too, which will make communications easy and available. In addition, community interaction can solve many issues too.
